Watch Mayweather vs Mcgregor

The fight between Watch Mayweather vs Mcgregor is likely to become the most lucrative event in the history of boxing. The fight – which will take place on August 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas – was announced on May 18 and a flurry of bets was immediately placed on the outcome. The contest is now expected to become the biggest betting event of the year in the United States and several other international markets, surpassing even the Super Bowl LII

Mayweather is the overwhelming favourite to beat McGregor and preserve his flawless professional boxing record come fight night, although because of his long odds, the majority of bets placed have been on McGregor to win.During the press tour, Mayweather vs Mcgregor Live  confidently announced: “He has little legs, a little core, a little head – I’m going to knock him out inside four rounds, mark my words”.

The bookies currently have McGregor to win by knockout priced at best price 13/2. But bettors seem convinced by McGregor’s confidence as Oddschecker say that 44% of all round bets have backed the Irishman to win inside 4 rounds.Of all bets on the fight, the most money has been staked on Mayweather to win in round 1 at 33/1, followed by Mayweather to win in rounds 2 and 3, priced at 25/1 and 20/1 respectively.

In the last six months, McGregor has accounted for 62% of bets between the pair, but the money has been split almost exactly 50:50. Bettors clearly fancy the value in McGregor, with the confident punters backing Mayweather with bigger stakes.Year after year, the Super Bowl is the biggest betting event of the year in the United States. But this year it could well be eclipsed by Mayweather’s fight with McGregor.

Kevin Bradley, the sports book manager at Bovada, recently told Yahoo:

“We knew this fight would be big, potentially even bigger than the Super Bowl, but now we are almost certain it will be. The recent trash talking and promotional tour is only encouraging bets and at this rate we cannot even imagine how much we will take on it.

“One thing is for sure though, we will need Mayweather huge. A McGregor early round KO as he promised would be a potential disaster and is partly a reason we are giving a great price on As the dust settles on Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather’s four-day press-tour extravaganza to hype up their August 26 fight, the time has come to try to make sense of this entire thing. Despite their best attempts at persuading the world that they truly despise each other by calling each other a “bitch” (among other salient things) over and over again, this fight isn’t happening in order to settle some long-running blood feud. No, this fight is happening for one very simple and obvious reason: money.
You might be thinking, Of course this fight is only happening because of the money. Between the two of them, McGregor and Mayweather are estimated to make upwards of $500 million combined when it’s all said and done. McGregor himself was boasting about quadrupling his net worth in just one fight to start off their press conference in London. That was literally the first thing he said to the crowd! Win or lose—and all sensible logic dictates that he will lose—that means a lot more Gucci fookin’ minks for the notorious one. As for Mayweather? The man has a lifestyle brand called “The Money Team.”

But if you’ve really been paying attention, you may have started to pick up on something in the quieter moments in between the inspired fashion choices and homophobic slurs. Take, for example, Mayweather’s response, during the Q&A segment of their London appearance, to the question of how this fight will affect his legacy:

“In boxing, it’s all about taking chances. And in boxing—and in contact sports, period—it’s about taking [a] risk. And if you’re going to take [a] risk, take it against the top guys.”
That right there? That is Floyd Mayweather ever so subtly puffing Conor McGregor up to be a bigger challenge than he actually is. If Mayweather was earnest in his remarks about taking risks against the top guys, why not put his 49-0 record on the line against a guy like Gennady Golovkin? Why not a rematch with Canelo Álvarez? Why hype up someone like McGregor, who has never participated in a professional boxing match and, if rumors are to be believed, was recently knocked out while sparringBecause despite the uncertainty surrounding his actual boxing ability, Conor McGregor is the biggest name in combat sports. Conor McGregor generates fanfare in both Europe and America. Conor McGregor has watched enough YouTube videos of Ric Flair to sell anyone on a fight, whether in the octagon or in a boxing ring. Conor McGregor permeates the mainstream in a way that no boxer has since, well, Floyd Mayweather himself. Who better to pass the torch to as Mayweather transitions from professional boxer to professional boxing promoter?

Which is why you shouldn’t be surprised when Mayweather big-ups McGregor following their showdown. Which is why you should be even less surprised when it’s announced six months after this fight that Conor McGregor will be back in the boxing ring under the Mayweather Promotions banner.

But what if McGregor somehow pulls off the unthinkable and knocks Mayweather out? Even better! I’m sure surpassing Rocky Marciano’s 49-0 record means something to Floyd Mayweather, but the hundreds of millions of dollars he could potentially make off of McGregor if he turns out to be as good a boxer as he’s trying to convince us all he is will surely soften the blow of a suddenly blemished record. Not to mention the then-inherent possibility of another seven-figure rematch. (Maybe they’ll hit us with an eight-day press tour to celebrate the occasion.)
Mayweather vs Mcgregor Live Stream is not merely a quick payday for either man. It’s the setup for many more paydays to come. I’m not suggesting that the fix is in, but rather that there is a plan in place
